Terms of Use

NutritionIQ · Humanalytics, LLC · Effective July 1, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Humanalytics, LLC ("NutritionIQ," "we," "us") governing your use of the NutritionIQ iOS application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use NutritionIQ.

2. The Service is not medical advice

NutritionIQ is a wellness and educational tool — it is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.

Nothing in the Service diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease or condition.
Lab values and trends are displayed for informational purposes only. Only your clinician can interpret them for your health.
The coach uses artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misread your data. Use your own judgment and verify important information with a professional.
Consult your physician before changing your diet, exercise, or supplements — especially if you are pregnant, take medication, or have a medical condition such as diabetes, heart or kidney disease, or a history of disordered eating.
If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on this app.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the NutritionIQ app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Full access to the Service requires a NutritionIQ Pro subscription, offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual plan. Current prices are shown in the app before you purchase.
New subscribers may receive a free trial (currently 7 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase.
Managing and canceling: billing is handled entirely by Apple. Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings ▸ Apple ID ▸ Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
We may change subscription prices or features prospectively; changes will not affect a period you have already paid for, and Apple will notify you of price changes as required.

5. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information; the quality of personalization depends on your data.
Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes and in compliance with applicable law.
Do not reverse engineer, scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with the Service; do not attempt to access other users' data; do not use the Service to build a competing dataset or product.
Do not rely on the Service for emergencies or time-critical health decisions.

6. Health data

By connecting Apple Health, wearables, or uploading lab reports, you authorize us to process that data to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke Health permissions at any time in the Health app.

7. AI-generated content

Portions of the Service, including coach responses, insights, and photo-based nutrition estimates, are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output is provided "as is," may contain errors, and does not constitute professional advice of any kind. You are responsible for how you use it.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, models, and content (other than your data), is owned by Humanalytics, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUMANALYTICS, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, HEALTH OUTCOMES, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US THROUGH THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Humanalytics, LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 2, 7–11, and 13–15) survive.

13. Apple App Store terms

These Terms are between you and Humanalytics, LLC only — not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app. To the extent a warranty exists and the app fails to conform to it, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims by you or third parties relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or intellectual-property claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
